PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION

 

An adhesive which is resistant to water, air and freezing, easy to apply, suitable for vertical and horizontal applications both indoors and outdoors. It contains high quality synthetic additives and is developed to ensure the adhering of materials such as granite, stone, special and imitation stone, clinker, stone tiles, etc.

APPLICATION AREAS

 

MEGATURKA  is used to adhere materials which often come into contact with water such as ceramic, tiles, mosaic tiling, etc. in areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, corridors and cold air tanks.

 

APPLICATION METHOD

 

The surfaced to used must be smooth, free of dust, grease, dirt, paint, etc. and loose particles on the surface should be removed with a brush or pressurized air.

 

If application used to be carried under windy or sunny weather conditions, the surface should be watered down before application or primed with PRÝMER-T.   Flawed or uneven surfaces should be made smooth and even by using REMÝX-5 prior to application.

 

 

 

 

Concrete should have been cured and if it has been plastered or covered with alum a drying period of 2 weeks should pass.

MEGATURKA is available in 25kg powder form and should be mixed with 5.5-6 kg of clean water taking care to avoid lumps forming. Then the mixture should be left alone for 10-15 minutes to allow to chemicals to dissolve. The mixture should be used up within 3 hours, after this period no more water or powder should be added to be set mortar. If an interval occurs during application, the mixture should be mixed again before resuming work. Only an amount sufficient for 3 hours use should be prepared. After obtaining a past-like mixture, the mortar should be pressed on as a thin layer and then spread out an angel of 45 degrees using a comb trowel. The material to be adhered should be pressed down.

During application gaps should be left for the joints and excess mortar wiped away with a wet sponge. Joints maybe filled after 24 hours.

Product should be kept in dry and cool place.   Shelf life under suitable conditions is 1 year. Stacking should not exceed 8 rows on top of each other.
