APPLICATION METHOD

Surface to be applied should be level, removed from dust, oil, dirt, paint etc, movable pieces on the surface should be cleared away with brush or compressed air. If application is carried out in windy or sunny weather, surface should be saturated with water or prime coated with PRIMER T before application. At defective and uneven surfaces YEYKIM REMIKS 5 should be used before application to achieve an level floor. Concrete should have been cured, if plaster or alum is applied 2 weeks of drying period should be allowed.

GAZ BETON YP (GAS CONCRETE YP) in 25 kg powder form is mixed with 5.5 – 6 kg clean water such that no agglomerate is formed. Later this mixture is left for 10-15 minutes for chemicals to dissolve. Mixture should be consumed in 3 hours, after this period expires no water or powder should be added to frozen mortar. In case application is stopped within the operation period mortar should be mixed again.  Mortar quantity more than required for about 3 hours should not be prepared. Mortar in paste form is pressed onto the surface as a thin layer  and then pulled at 45 degrees angle with a combed trowel. Material to be adhered is applied by pressing. During application joint clearances should be allowed and mortar residues should be cleaned with a damp sponge. Joint filling application can be carried out after 24 hours.
