PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION
This adherence enhancing mortar additive is a high bonding copolymer acrylic dispensation which can be applied to many areas such as the bonding of materials which require adhering.
PRODUCT FEATURES
Appearance : white, viscous fluid
Application Temp. : min +5 °C
Density : vinyl copolymer
LATEX TC 10 can be used in many areas where high bonding strength is required as it ensures deep penetration on both sides of a surfaces, when it is used as a mortar additive it provides the mortar with flexibility and increases chemical resistance and mechanic durability. When it is used as a primer it provides a non-separating structure with its high adhering affect.
APPLICATION AREAS
It is used for the adhering of surfaces such as wood, concrete and stone which are absorbent and allow penetration, it is also used as an adherence provider for the purpose of providing flexibility and increasing proofing in coatings and alums applied to old concrete.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
If it is to be used as an adhesive, LATEX TC 10 watered down at a proportion of 1:1 is spread onto both of the surfaces to be adhered. After waiting for a while, adherence is ensured by applying pressure. If the surface absorbency is high the amount of water added may be increased. If it is used
as an adherence enhancer, the surface must be free from dirt and debris which may prevent adherence. Deep cracks and pitting must be repaired with REMIX repair mortar. LATEX TC 10 is mixed with a water ratio of 1/3 and the first coat applied, then watered at a ratio of 1/1 and applied a second time once the first coat has dried. If it is used as a filler LATEX TC 10 should be mixed with sawdust, sand, plaster or cement and applied as a filler or adhesive.
