A fluid additive which provides water-proofing, easy application and use for mortars and plaster.

PRODUCT FEATURES

YEYKIM 1 is a ready-to-use additive which is cloudy, with a density of 1,1 kg/lt and does not contain a concrete inhibitor. It is suited to the alkaline of cement and has a dense consistency, its freezing temperature is -4 °C and can circulate air. The chemicals in its content provides the system with a water resisting quality, it increases durability by reacting with cement and besides providing significant volume increase it prevents vein cracks from forming as well as ensuring resistance to freezing. Due to the fluid nature of the chemicals it has advantages such as ease of application and reducing mixing water. Compared to other mortar additives it provides 5-7 times more volume increase and therefore greatly reduces application costs. It provides resistance against weather conditions in plasters and prevents discoloration and also floral growth caused by limestone. It provides a long-life, economical, water-resistance and clean coating in structures.

APPLICATION AREAS

YEYKIM 1 is an additive which is easy to apply and economical as a plaster additive for irrigation canals, pools, indoor and outdoor surfaces and the plastering of coated concrete, alums, stone walls-except beam flooring concrete which requires waterproofing.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

In order to adjust the recommended amount the quantity of cement added to the mortar is very important. The product should not be used more than needed. If excessively used, negative conditions such as setting delays, deficient resistance and excessive volume increase can occur. YEYKIM 1 must be shaken before use. It is not recommended for load-carrying systems.

A recommended quantity of ready to use YEYKIM 1 is added to the mixing water. The product which is added to watered mortar will immediately be effective in its locality and will not be a homegenous mixture and this is therefore not recommended. It should be mixed with a suitable mixer. Excessive mixing is not recommended as it will cause phase separation.

USAGE

Its enough to added 0.6 – 1.1 kg YEYKIM 1 for one cement.
